Turning meeting notes into action with AI

The insights from a meeting are worthless if nobody acts on them. How to go from recording to owned tasks automatically.

Most meeting notes die in a doc. The decisions get made, and then nobody turns them into anything.

The loop to automate

  1. Pull the meeting summary or recording (from Zoom, Google Meet, or your notes).
  2. Extract the decisions and action items.
  3. Assign each to an owner as a task in your tool (Asana, Linear, a Sheet).
  4. Confirm — you review the proposed tasks before anything is created.

Brief an AI coworker once — "turn today's meeting into tasks and assign owners" — and the gap between "we agreed to" and "someone's doing it" closes.

Keep the human in it

The agent proposes the tasks and owners; you approve. That keeps it fast without letting it invent commitments nobody made. The output is a short, accurate list you actually act on — not another doc to forget.
